. . . to the [community profile] manga community at Dreamwidth. This is pretty much a one-stop place for anything that has to do with manga (Japanese comics). Whether you want to discuss manga, find fans of new or old series, plug fandom communities, share manga or otherwise, this is the place for you. So pull up a chair and come on in. ♥

r u l e s
1. Any and all spoilers need to be placed under a cut. (don't know how?) Even if a series came out 10 years ago, that doesn't matter if someone only started reading it yesterday.

2. Any and all adult content (whether it's pictures or text) needs to be placed under a cut. People read this stuff at work sometimes, you know? It wouldn't be cool if you got fired over some yaoi imagery or something.

3. If you are sharing/uploading any manga, that entry needs to be locked. Also, some groups do not allow their projects to be shared in the community, or at least not immediately. I ask that you please respect the rules of the various scanlation groups, otherwise we may not have any more scanlations from them at all. Instead of redistributing, please direct users to the scanlators' web site. Currently, Fushichou, Liquid Passion/Biblos Eros, Love and Voice, and Dragon Voice releases fall under this rule.

4. All RP/manga sale advertisements or community plugs should be kept to a minimum. IE: please do not plug your community every single day. It really spams up our comm. Just do it once per community/sale/etc., please.

5. Please respect other members of the community. Not everyone has the same taste in manga. Just because you personally don't like something doesn't mean that everyone else has to. It's alright to debate about a manga itself, but please don't resort to insulting the other members if they happen to have different opinions. Offenders will be warned, and then banned in the event of repeat offenses.
